Olympus EZ-1442 Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f3 ,5-5, 6 Lens

Olympus EZ-1442 Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f3,5-5,6 Objektiv (Four Thirds)

The basis for the high image quality of the Four Thirds system is diameter is about twice the size of the image circle. This additional space provides much more freedom in designing the objectives and ensures sharp, clear images. Despite its compact dimensions of the camera and lens, the light is true even at the edges directly on the image sensor. The straight light path also contributes to a huge improvement in picture quality.

After about 1,000 pictures on vacation and at home I can tell a great standard zoom lens with excellent value for money. The very small and lightweight design makes the Olympus Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f3 ,5-5, 6 Lens is an ideal travel companion. The 14-42 zoom range covers most of the "standard" situations as well as on the optical power, there is nothing to complain about. The only problem is the low light intensity, it is to shoot in very low light only slightly longer shutter speeds. - But for such conditions, the camera has a flash yes, -) Overall, I give the lens, so 4 stars!

Olympus EZ-4015-2 Zuiko Digital 40-150mm f4 0.0 to 5, 6 Lens

Olympus EZ-4015-2 Zuiko Digital 40-150mm f4,0-5,6 Objektiv

The smallest and lightest * 3.8x zoom lens in its class is housed in einem72 mm small package, equivalent to a 300mm telephoto lens. It is equipped with an ED lens element (Extra Low Dispersion) provided that ensures an optimal correction of chromatic aberrations. The circular aperture provides a beautiful and natural background blur, and the minimum shooting distance of 90cm throughout the zoom range is surprisingly low, so that guaranteed at any zoom position, a high image quality. The small, lightweight and extremely cheap telephoto zoom lens designed specifically for the E-400 and is ideal for portraits and sports action.

I use this lens on the E-420 and sometimes even to the I-30 when it should be easy. As with the "kit lenses" of all manufacturers, it is not as bright as the larger telephoto zoom compact design a great performance. And yet neither Canon, Nikon, there is such a focal length so extremely small: At least here correspond to the angle of a 150mm film camera with 300mm!

So you can make discreet and from 5-8m distance portraits or wildlife viewing. It should also operate as a macro lens.

From Olympus cost-performance ratio is, as so often-just managed a top objective.
